About ZapUp
ZapUp is a customer-service and CRM platform for WhatsApp. Its AI answers, qualifies and organizes incoming conversations in natural language, and hands them over to a human agent when needed. Each business gets its own phone number, AI persona and team, with its data kept separate from other businesses.
Why ZapUp requests access to your Google Account: the platform connects to Google services so it can complete the work started in a WhatsApp conversation. Google Calendar — appointments booked during a conversation are written to the company calendar, and existing busy times are read to avoid double-booking. Google Drive — the platform creates one folder per conversation and stores the files exchanged there, using the drive.file scope, which grants access only to files and folders the application creates or that the user explicitly selects in the Google Picker. Gmail — sale confirmation e-mails are sent from the company's own address using the gmail.send scope, which allows sending only and never reading the inbox.
Connecting a Google Account is optional, is performed by the user inside the platform, and can be revoked at any time in Settings. ZapUp's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
For law firms, ZapUp also includes Sentinela, which transcribes client meetings with ElevenLabs Scribe and uses Claude Haiku and Claude Sonnet for the live checklist and the final report, and also uses Claude Opus to draft court filings with every legal citation checked against official sources. Lawyers review and sign everything.
